It was in 1862, when Louis Ernest Ladurée, a miller from the southwest of France started his bakery at 16 rue Royale in the centre of Paris. Taking inspiration from his wife, Jeanne Souchard, who had the idea of combining a Parisian café with a traditional pastry shop, Ladurée created one of the first tea salons in town. Today, the luxury French patisserie is revered around the globe for its sensational sweet treats and world-famous macarons.
Whether it be dainty macarons, expertly crafted coffee or buttery French pastries, Ladurée in Bicester Village is the ideal spot to take a moment and indulge in some sweet Parisian delights.
