In 2023 The Bicester Collection Villages partnered with Smiley Movement to present the annual Charity Film Awards, leveraging the power of storytelling for social good. The year saw the introduction of The Bicester Collection Award for International Impact, recognising international charities for the first time. The winner of this category was World Connect with The Women Fish Farmers of Ndombo Sandjiry, Senegal.
The partnershp generated a record 35 million views for 400 UK and international charities, as well as brands and organisations that put people, the planet and purpose at the centre of their business operations.
The Charity Film Awards serve as a poignant reminder that behind every statistic is a face, behind every issue is a life and behind every screen is an opportunity to make the world a better place. Winners and finalists received valuable resources and expertise to enhance their impact, including social marketing support from TikTok for Good.
