Working with UNICEF

To coincide with 25th anniversary of The Bicester Collection's La Roca Village, an alliance was launched with UNICEF Spain. Together, the Village embarked on a year-long campaign advocating to end child marriage, promote girls’ education and safeguard girls’ rights, with the support of education advocate and child marriage survivor Nada Al-Ahadal.

All proceeds supported UNICEF Jordan, focusing on aiding 250 Syrian and Jordanian adolescent girls at risk or aff ected by child marriage in specifi c areas. On World Children’s Day (20 November), La Roca Village was invited by UNICEF Spain to join in the reading of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in Madrid.

In recognition of the efforts against child marriage, La Roca Village received the La Vanguardia 2023 Award for the best charitable initiative in Spain.
