Eileen Dunne met Stefano Crescenzi in Rome in the early 90's. They married and moved to Dublin in 1995, where they started their first little business- a shop in Sutton. Selling fine Italian wines, salumi and cheeses, they soon realised that customers were enjoying their taste of Italy, and interested in learning more.
In 1999, Dunne & Crescenzi in South Frederick street opened. Serving simple Italian food with the best quality ingredients, authentically Italian hospitality, and excellent Italian wines, Eileen and Stefano, in Tom Doorley's words "changed the way the Irish eat".
Taking its name from the Italian for 'workshop', Dunne & Crescenzi utilises a combination of skills and expertise to create a new, exciting dining experience. This is the place to enjoy fine Italian food and wine in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.
