I'm Grand Mam

June is Pride! A whole month of activities and events for LGBTQI+ people and their allies. To celebrate Pride 2023, will host a live podcast recording of I’m Grand Mam on Saturday 10 June from 12.30 pm in Unit 90. With almost 2.5 million listens to date, I’m Grand Mam is hosted by two lads, Kevin and PJ, who are originally from Cork and now living in London. Each week, Kevin and PJ have a cuppa and catch up as they explore the collective life landmarks that accompany growing up gay in the world today. What makes this podcast so relatable for so many is the entertaining way Kevin and PJ navigate their way through gay London and immerse themselves in the virtues and vices of the city, all the while battling with the internal shared struggle that every Irish gay man deals with when living away from home - ‘what would mam think?’ Having performed sold-out shows across the UK, I’m Grand Mam now comes to Kildare Village this June. At this live podcast, Kevin and PJ will chat about style and personal expression and what it means to them.
