Thank you for sponsoring a tree in the Enchanted Forest at Barretstown, you are helping us to achieve our sustainability goals whilst also helping us to serve more children and their families affected by serious illness. Please find below some important information about your tree. • Trees planted in The Enchanted Forest will be planted in conjunction with the Tree Council of Ireland. The Barretstown team will take great care of your tree, however, should anything happen to your tree within the first three years of planting we will replace it for you. • Your tree will be allocated a unique number and this number will appear on your certificate. • We would love you to visit the Enchanted Forest during our Open Days and these dates will be published on our website, please note that Barretstown is not open to the public outside of these dates. • Your submission of personal information to Barretstown is governed by our Privacy Notice. Any transactions made through our charity partner Kildare Village will be managed through the Blackthorn Platform (see Blackthorn privacy policy and security and compliance details here , here and; here with full amount of transactions being transferred to Barretstown.
• In order to ensure the correct name is assigned to the tree sponsored, we or our charity partner will capture and maintain minimal personal data relating to you (or the person you are donating on behalf of) and you hereby consent to our capturing and retaining such data. Any such data capture and retention will comply with the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Once the certificate has been issued, the tree will be planted by the Tree Council of Ireland and therefore your donation is non-refundable. • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates and changes to our website.
