With her Village Takeover in 2023, Princess Delphine created one of the most striking artistic statements in the history of Maasmechelen Village. Her theme, Love Imperfection, encouraged visitors to look at themselves with kindness. The installation — from colourful drawings to her iconic “wishing tree” — became a safe space filled with warmth, humour, and self‑reflection.
For years, Olga has been a loyal and warmly welcomed guest at Maasmechelen Village. To her, the Village is more than a shopping destination: it’s a place for relaxation, hospitality, and small moments of joy. The combination of top brands, Limburg hospitality, and the holiday feeling makes it a mini‑escape every time she visits.

If you’ve ever paused to admire a floral installation, the impressive Christmas trees, or a colourful summer setup, you may have unknowingly appreciated the work of Raf Verwimp. As a long‑standing creative partner of the Village, he has helped define its visual identity for many years.
With Odette Lunettes, Eline had a platform in the Village for two years. The boutique brought her Belgian eyewear label into contact with an international and diverse audience in a place where quality and experience take centre stage. What inspired her in the Village? The service level, the hospitality, and the fact that Belgian brands are given a place alongside international names.
