Raf Verwimp

Floral designer Raf Verwimp has been an essential creative partner of Maasmechelen Village for many years. His installations, seasonal flowers, festive decorations and nature-inspired displays, shape the emotional atmosphere of the Village throughout the year. His approach blends craftsmanship with storytelling, making nature the central character.

I want people not just to see something, but to truly experience it. Flowers, colour and interaction create moments visitors take with them — and that is just as meaningful as anything they carry home in their shopping bag.

Jean-Louis Muller

Belgian artist Jean-Louis Muller is known for his architectural wooden constructions that blend craftsmanship, storytelling and nature. Working primarily with willow, he transforms its naturally flexible branches into sculptural forms that invite connection and imagination. His work often plays with thresholds, passageways, and the interaction between visitors and their surroundings.

Jean-Louis' work connects the Village to its natural environment. His pieces invite guests to look up, walk through, or pause for a moment of reflection.

Oli-B

Belgian artist Oli-B creates visual worlds filled with flowing shapes, layered colours and soft movement. His work ranges from murals and canvases to three-dimensional installations and site-specific pieces. In the Village, his artwork is inspired by the surrounding landscape.

I’m drawn to spaces where my work can evolve with its surroundings. Whether on canvas, wood or large urban walls, the piece grows into a living part of the environment.
