Main Handbrot was founded in 2017 by three young entrepreneurs with the aim of bringing homemade, tasty and stuffed bread to the Main regions.

The first events in 2017 were a success and we were able to win many lovers of our homemade bread in a very short period of time. In 2018 we made a name in other parts of Germany, and now we are very happy to be part of Wertheim Village in order to make the Main Handbrot tasty to international guests as well, under the name Ofenbrot (by Main Handbrot).

For Wertheim Village, the Ofenbrot team continues to use local and regional products. This is particularly evident in the aroma and quality of the Ofenbrot. For this we rely on traditional knowledge, typical regional recipes and handcraft skills, which make up a large part of the tasty Ofenbrot.

You can look forward to a delicious Ofenbrot fresh and warm, straight from the oven. Our bread, according to our own recipe, is a stuffed bread, which you can enjoy in two delicious variations. You have the choice, between Ofenbrot Original, hearty oven bread, filled with bacon, ham and cheese or choose the tasty Ofenbrot Veggie, filled with tomatoes, mushrooms, spring onions, pepper and cheese. In addition, you can refine the bread with a spoonful of sour cream, which is a perfect combination for the hearty bread dough made from wheat and spelt flour.
