BICESTER VILLAGE PERSONAL SHOPPING SERVICE
The following terms and conditions shall apply to guests use of the personal shopping services at Bicester Village (“you/ your”).
Personal Shopping

“Personal Shopping” is a discretionary service which provides guests with help and assistance to purchase clothing and accessories, either by accompanying the guest whilst shopping in Bicester Village or by shopping on behalf of the guest.

To take advantage of the Personal Shopping services, you must email personalshopper@bicestervillage.com (or such other email address as may be provided in a promotional offer) a minimum of 48 hours before you wish to use the Personal Shopping services at Bicester Village to confirm the booking. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion. All bookings are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

On arrival at Bicester Village, you must present your booking confirmation at The Apartment, Bicester Village. You will then be entitled (subject to availability) to receive the Personal Shopping services.

Personal Shopping services are only valid on the date and at the time of the booking confirmation. You should arrive no less than 15 minutes in advance of your appointment and we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel your appointment if you are late.
Purchases

During your Personal Shopping appointment, a Personal Shopper will assist you to enable you to purchase products.

These purchases will be facilitated by the Personal Shoppers but will be made in your name on behalf of you. You will, therefore, be the direct purchaser of the products that you have instructed the Personal Shopper to purchase on your behalf.

Once you have made your selection of products with the help of the Personal Shopper, Bicester Village will send an email: (i) acknowledging receipt of the exact details of the order made by you in accordance with these terms and conditions; (ii) providing you with a secure payment link (Stripe) to enable you to pay for the entire order; (iii) confirming the total amount to be debited from your account for the purchases; and (iv) if applicable, the additional shipping and import costs associated with the purchases.

Once you have concluded the payment process for your purchases, the Personal Shopper will finalise the purchase of products selected and paid for by you. Delivery or collection details of the purchases will then be communicated to you.

The Personal Shopper will seek to borrow or reserve products in your preferred style and size. However, the boutique stocks are limited. Promoting a product or suggesting a product to you does not constitute a guarantee or a commitment by the Personal Shopper on the part of Bicester Village, and product availability can only be confirmed at the time of the actual purchase.

Delivery timescales discussed with the Personal Shopper are estimates in light of usual postal service times. Personal Shoppers cannot warrant or guarantee that products will be sent out by a specific time and/or received at a particular time or for a specific event, even if you informed the Personal Shopper that you wanted the products for that event.

We don’t accept cash payments.
Virtual Shopping via Personal Shoppers
- Virtual purchases are facilitated via Bicester Village Gift Cards (pre-paid by you via a Stripe secure payment link). All purchases are subject to the individual boutique’s terms and conditions, including boutique-specific policies (e.g. some boutiques may only offer store credit and no refunds). Guests must return products in new condition, with all original packaging and labels intact. Refunds for eligible returns will be processed to the original form of payment. Bicester Village is not responsible if a boutique or brand refuses a refund, exchange, or any other remedy.
Returns

You may return purchases directly with the boutiques (whether due to defects or otherwise) in accordance with the return and exchange policies specific to each boutique, the details and costs associated with which will be on the receipts of the purchases.

Each boutique is a separate company with its own return, refund and exchange policies. Bicester Village cannot guarantee that a boutique will provide reimbursement for the returned purchases. VR gives no warranties regarding the goods and services (including without limitation the quality thereof) and your ability to return the purchases, and Bicester Village will not be liable for any losses you may suffer as a result.

The boutiques may affix labels or other markers to certain products to prevent their use. The boutiques will be entitled to refuse returns or refunds of products where the label or marker has been detached or where the products have been soiled by wear or use, partially used (for example, cosmetics) or mixed or contaminated with other products or materials. By removing any label or other markers, you waive any right to return the products.

Boutiques may not accept returns of products shipped outside the United Kingdom.
General

Personal Shoppers that carry out the Personal Shopping services aim to make your shopping experience at Bicester Village as pleasant as possible by helping you select products that will suit you. Personal Shoppers will use reasonable efforts to achieve this but cannot guarantee that you will be satisfied with every purchase. You should report any concerns to the Personal Shoppers.

We act as the agent of the participating boutiques at all times and the Personal Shopping services create no contractual relationship between us and you in relation to any recommendations that the personal shoppers may provide or any purchases that you may make.

Bicester Village reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, suspend, or terminate Personal Shopping or other services to any guest who behaves in a rude, abusive, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate manner towards staff, boutiques, or other guests. No refund or compensation will be provided in such circumstances.

Bicester Village suppliers, particularly suppliers related to financial services such as credit and debit card payment agents, are required to, or require Bicester Village to, undertake certain identity and fraud checks. Bicester Village may need to hold copies of documents relating to the identity and/or fraud checks, and/or provide them to the suppliers who need to make such checks or who conduct checks on behalf of Bicester Village, in which case Bicester Village shall use reasonable measures to keep copies secure.
Data Processing

Value Retail Management (Bicester Village) Limited, the managing company of Bicester Village, processes your personal data for the purpose of registering you for Personal Shopping and managing the service during your visit to Bicester Village.
