1. The competition is open to all residents of the Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the competition.

1.1 To enter, you must: (a) have successfully registered a score in the ‘Nearest the pin’ virtual reality golf simulator in person (b) entered your score and the date taken part on the event registration page ( The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.

  1. Only one entry per person per day.

  2. The opportunity to enter is limited to guests who have taken part in the virtual reality golf simulator on a date between 10 am 30th June 2023 and 7pm on 2nd July 2023. Once the golf event unit has been closed each evening no more entries to this competition will be granted.

  3. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed or a guest not inputting their details correctly.

  4. In the event of multiple people with the same score, a winner will be chosen from amongst those who have fulfilled the Correct Entry Mechanism by a computerised process. One winner, who recorded the closest to the pin score, will be chosen for each day (Friday, 30th June 2023, Saturday, 1st July 2023 and Sunday, 2nd July 2023) on Monday, 3rd July 2023.

  5. Each of the three winners will receive a prize which includes two hours in The K Golf World plus dinner for two in South Restaurant and Bar at The K Club.

  6. The winner will be instructed on how and where to collect their prize upon being informed of their being a winner of the competition. The winner will be notified of their win on Monday, 3rd July 2023 via email.

  7. If the winner fails to respond within 2 days of being notified of their prize the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.

  8. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

  9. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.

  10. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

  11. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who contacts the Promoter within one month after the closing date stated in condition 3. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority of Ireland on request.

  12. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

  13. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
