LEFT LUGGAGE SERVICE – TERMS & CONDITIONS

DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

  1. Items: the items you wish to temporarily store with our luggage storage service.
  2. Collection Deadline: 30 minutes before the closing time of La Vallée Village on the day the items are temporarily stored.
  3. Services: the storage of goods for a maximum duration up to the Collection Deadline in accordance with these Terms.
  4. Terms: the terms of use set out in this document.
  5. We/Our/Us: VR Services SNC (La Vallée Village).

NATURE AND VALUE OF GOODS

  1. We are not authorised to accept Items for storage with a value exceeding €500 per item of luggage.
  2. You declare to Us that the total value of all Items you entrust to us for storage does not exceed €500 per item of luggage (including the container and it contents), that the luggage containing the Items is in good condition, suitable for its purpose and that none of the Items are dangerous, harmful, perishable or fragile. You also declare that all Items can be stored at a temperature between -5°C and 40°C for the entire storage period.
  3. We disclaim all liability for the storage of Items if you use our Services without informing us that the value of the Items exceeds €500.
  4. The weight of a piece of luggage cannot exceed 20 kg and its dimensions must not exceed 54 cm x 29 cm x 75 cm.
  5. To benefit from this service, you agree, for security reasons, that we may inspect the Items.
  6. If you do not collect the Items before the Collection Deadline, We will consider the Items as lost property and will transfer them to the Security team at La Vallée Village, where the Items will be governed by La Vallée Village's general conditions applicable to Lost & Found Property.
  7. The following items are prohibited in the luggage:
  8. Explosive or incendiary substances and devices.
  9. Explosive or incendiary substances and devices that could be used to cause serious injury or threaten the safety of an aircraft, including:
I.	Ammunition.
II.	Primers.
III.	Detonators and detonating cords.
IV.	Mines, grenades and other military explosives.
V.	Fireworks and other pyrotechnic articles.
VI.	Smoke bombs and cartridges.
VII.	Dynamite, gunpowder and plastic explosives.
  1. Food and beverages.
  2. Electric means of transportation (e.g., scooter).
  3. Any living being, animal or plant.
  4. Lithium batteries or devices containing a lithium battery.

If any of these items are found during inspection, they will be immediately removed and the owner of a prohibited item may face prosecution by the competent public authorities, depending on the nature of the item.

COLLECTION OF ITEMS

  1. At the collection point, you must present the voucher corresponding to the stored Items, which was given to you when you deposited your Items with Us, and you must also provide a photo ID confirming your identity as the original depositor of the Items.
  2. If you are collecting the Items on behalf of the original depositor, you must provide a signed authorisation from the original depositor and present a document proving their identity.
  3. At the time of collection, you must inspect the Items and verify that they are in the same condition as when deposited, and you must report any issues to Us before leaving La Vallée Village. We will not be liable for any losses or damages not reported to us before your departure from La Vallée Village on the day of using our Services. In case of damage caused by us, and confirmed by a field manager, we may reimburse you up to €50 per luggage in the form of a La Vallée Village Gift Card.

PROVISION OF SERVICES

  1. To provide you with the Services, We ask you to complete a registration form. If you do not provide us with this information, or if it is incomplete or inaccurate, We disclaim all liability for any delays or malfunctions in the Services that may result.

PRICE AND PAYMENT

  1. The price for the Services provided is €10 for 4 pieces of luggage.
  2. The Services described in these Terms are free for all VIP clients (hereinafter referred to as "Private Clients") and for all members of La Vallée Village (hereinafter referred to as "LVV Members").
  3. For La Vallée Village Members, the free service is valid until 28 February 2025, and is limited to four Items per day per person, subject to the availability of the services at the time of the visit.

LIABILITY

  1. In the event of Our failure to comply with these Terms, We will only be liable for foreseeable losses or damages that you may suffer as a result, but without incurring any liability for unforeseeable losses or damages. Losses and damages are foreseeable if they are an obvious consequence of our failure, or if they were contemplated by you and Us at the time of the contract.
  2. We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any of Our obligations under these Terms resulting from events beyond Our reasonable control (including, but not limited to, strikes, lockouts or other industrial actions by third parties, civil commotion, riots, invasions, terrorist attacks or threats of terrorist attacks, war or threat of war or preparation for war, fires, explosions, storms, floods, earthquakes, epidemics or other natural disasters, or failures of telecommunications networks).
  3. In the event of an event beyond Our control affecting the performance of Our obligations, We will contact you as soon as possible and Our obligations will be suspended; the time for performance of Our obligations will be extended for the duration of the event.

OTHER CONDITIONS

  1. These Terms are the only conditions governing the contractual relationship between you and Us regarding the Items and the Services. This contract is concluded between you and Us. No third party shall have the right to enforce any provision of this contract. Each paragraph of these Terms constitutes a separate provision. If a court or competent authority declares any of these provisions illegal, the other paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
  2. If We do not insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if We do not enforce our rights against you, or if We delay in doing so, that will not mean that We have waived our rights against you or that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If We do waive a default by you, We will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that We will automatically waive any later default by you.
  3. This Contract is governed by French law; You and We acknowledge the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
