A Parisian adventure
Destination31 May 2024
From the twinkling lights of Paris to the prestigious Champagne houses in Reims, hop between two of France’s most beautiful cities. You’ll find an irresistible combination of cultural events, Michelin-starred restaurants and iconic architecture.
Day 1

In the heart of Paris is Castille Paris, a member of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts L.V.X Collection. It’s the ideal location for taking in the city’s must-see landmarks, such as the Louvre, Place Vendôme and the Champs-Élysées.

For a mid-morning pick-me-up, Breizh Café is one of the most popular creperies in the city thanks to its Breton-style buckwheat galettes and sweet crêpes. Get there early to avoid the queues!

A city made for art lovers, there’s a gallery or exhibition to suit every taste. This summer, Musee d’Orsay will present immersive exhibitions devoted to the likes of Claude Rutault, Degas, Manet and Victor Albert Prout.

For dinner, Paris is buzzing with both Michelin-starred restaurants (book ahead for a table at the likes of Le Meurice or the more intimate Frenchie and classic French bistros. Try Café de Flore for the latter – it’s a favourite with tourists and locals alike.

Day 5

Finish your holiday in true Parisian style with a seaside escape to the Normandy town of Deauville. Spend a picture-perfect day paddling in the ocean, sampling homemade ice cream at Martine Lambert, and exploring the famous timber-framed houses along the boardwalk.

While in Deauville, sample traditional Norman dishes and local seafood. L’Essentiel, a contemporary bistro serving fusion cuisine, and Le Drakkar , an upmarket French brasserie renowned for its oysters, are our favourites.

If lounging on the beach isn’t your thing, why not plan your trip around one of the town’s bustling horse events, visit a world-class golf course or relax at a sea therapy spa – try Thalasso Deauville.
