If we had to pick a favourite of all the city’s terraces, we’d choose the Azotea del Circulo. located atop the Círculo de Bellas Artes. One of the capital’s most iconic buildings, the terrace is overlooked by the Goddess Minerva and offers 360-degree views of the city.

Delight in the terrace’s relaxed, modern atmosphere as you cast your eyes across the Gran Vía and the Metropolis sign, as well as the many Art Nouveau and Art Deco buildings nestled among the streets.

The Urban Terrace at Hotel Urban

Since opening in 2005, Hotel Urban has become a star of the Madrid travel scene. It’s known for its spectacular reflective façade, décor packed with Chinese, Hindu and African artwork and its museum, where you can discover Egyptian artwork that’s more than 4,500 years old.

Since opening its doors in 1995, El Viajero – housed in a nineteenth-century building – has been a hotspot for locals to meet friends and share a drink.
