MAASMECHELEN VILLAGE HANDS-FREE SHOPPING

Dear Guest, we are glad to assist you with Hands-Free Shopping (‘HFS’), to enable you to shop at brands present at Maasmechelen Village and collect all your purchases at the end of your visit to Maasmechelen Village. Allow us to point out some organisational rules for this service:

  1. Collect your HFS wallet at the Maasmechelen Village Concierge Services with a valid identification (national ID Card) and

a. a Partner Membership Card (being a corporate partner of The Bicester Collection, details of which are set out at https://www.thebicestercollection.com/maasmechelen-village/nl/member/); or

b. a Private Client Card; or

c. your invitation; or

d. your booking (made via e-mail or WhatsApp, subject to availability); or

e. a registration form completed at the Maasmechelen Village Concierge Services.

Redemption Process

  1. With HFS registration you can ask participating brands (list available at the Maasmechelen Village Concierge Services) to place your purchases with this brand in a sealed security shopping bag. You can access your purchases during your visit by contacting the brand’s shop assistant/ Maasmechelen Village Concierge Services who can remove and reseal at your sole responsibility.

  2. Collect your purchases on the same day of your visit at the Guest Concierge by presenting your HFS registration, photographic identification and receipts for the purchases at the latest 30 minutes before Maasmechelen Village closing time. We cannot guarantee that you purchase will be immediately available, a short waiting time can be applicable. You can always call Maasmechelen Village Concierge Services in advance thus minimising waiting times.

General

  1. As of 30 minutes before closing time of the Village, HFS services can no longer be guaranteed.

  2. You must collect your purchases on the same day the purchases are made. Maasmechelen Village reserves the right to dispose of any purchases not collected within 3 months as of date of purchase.

  3. Maasmechelen Village’s liability for any loss or damage to your purchases under the HFS service is limited to a maximum value of £25,000 per bag. For Goods in transit, the overall limit is £250,000 and for Goods in storage, the overall limit is £300,000 per storage location. Maasmechelen Village will only be responsible for loss or damage to your purchases that are due to the demonstrated fault of Maasmechelen Village and are notified upon collecting your purchases from the Maasmechelen Village Concierge Services. Maasmechelen Village will not accept any liability for losses or damages caused that have not been reported by you before you leave Maasmechelen Village on the day you make the relevant purchases OR on collection of your purchases.

  1. HFS is subject to the Maasmechelen Village privacy policy, available through https://www.thebicestercollection.com/en/legal/village-privacy-notice-en/ and by requesting the HFS you confirm your consent with this policy.
