I started my career with Wertheim Village, in 2013, as a Sales Assistant, and have been working in managerial positions since 2016. What I love about my job is that each day brings a variety of new challenges. The international atmosphere and encounters with different cultures, among fellow employees as well as customers, is also exciting. One is fully accepted into the Village family where swapping ideas, and freely exchanging views with colleagues from other stores is encouraged. This is a particular point that I love about the Village. I also appreciate the cooperation received from the Village Management which offers all stores individual training that promotes and benefits the employees.

You get to know people from all over the world, have great conversations and build new relationships every day.

As a sales assistant, I have been a happy member of the Wertheim Village Family since 2012. I’m convinced that it’s the best possible workplace in sales that one can imagine. The atmosphere is wonderful. Every day turns into an exciting experience. Here, willingness counts and, no matter where you’re from, your personality, abilities and skills can grow. You get to know people from all over the world, have great conversations and build new relationships every day. If you don’t speak foreign languages, the Village continuously offers staff development and language trainings, free of charge. Both, the customers and us, the employees, are always made to feel welcome. Anyone who can imagine working with people should feel encouraged to apply here.

My retail career started in a family business in the fashion industry. There, I graduated from a three-year trainee program, after which I started in my first position as a store manager. Then I switched to Ingolstadt Village, because I was awed by the outlet business. There, I managed a store for a few years. Then, because my brand opened a new store in Wertheim Village, I happily came along in late 2016. Every day, guests from all over the world visit here, so, each day feels like a little vacation. I have found a brand that I relate to and find 100% fascinating. Every day, my team and I want to pass on this fascination to our customers.

We accompany talented individuals through specially tailored training programs, preparing them for possible future career steps.

Since 2014, I have been a part of the Wertheim Village Family and appreciate the team spirit within my brand as well as with the other stores and the Village Management. Here, one feels that the togetherness and mutual, always open communication exchange, is alive and well. I see my responsibility in developing and promoting my team of 70. We accompany talented individuals through specially tailored training programs, preparing them for possible future career steps. For example, my current Assistant General Manager started out as a part-time Sales Associate and has evolved step-by-step. I'm proud to work and steadily grow with my team.

I find the daily changing scope of duties and the successful implementation of all the challenges associated with them especially exciting.

I studied electrical engineering and information technology and work full-time for Deutsche Lufthansa at the Frankfurt Airport. My path to Wertheim Village began in 2017, when I took a trip to Wertheim with a friend. I loved the picturesque surroundings so much that, later, I applied for a part-time job. Since then, once a week, I have been a happy salesperson at a luxury brand that I can 100% identify with. It is great fun to, “Wow!” people; to inform them about our high-quality products and, above all, to present the quality. I love my job, the working atmosphere and being part of the Wertheim Village family.

In my role as store manager, I am enriched by the range of possibilities the brand and the Village offer.

In my role as store manager, I am enriched by the range of possibilities the brand and the Village offer. Beside managing the Wertheim team, I have always been allowed to mentor national and international projects, from new openings to the supervision of other stores. My career as a manager began in 2004, here at Wertheim Village, with a summer job after graduation. The fashion industry immediately inspired me and so, I accepted the offer of a retail training that opened the next door for me. I joined a luxury brand as an assistant store manager and three years later, I was promoted to store manager. A few years later, I started as a Store Manager at a premium brand and, in the meantime, became active as a senior store manager there. In retrospect, I wouldn’t change a thing about my career path. I’d do it exactly the same way again and look forward to my next step in the fashion world.
