The London-based and Spanish-born designer Carlota Barrera approaches menswear through an ultra-modern lens.

Working to open up a dialogue about men’s rigid, gender-based stereotypes and helping them find new ways to express themselves, the brand is as contemporary as it is boundary-pushing.

Collections don’t just take inspiration from the evolution of the modern man, but from queer history, and the many shapes and movements of the male body too. Classic tailoring is reimagined into fluid, contemporary designs – and the result is immensely sophisticated.

The brand champions local artisanal craftsmanship too, having collaborated with Spanish footwear brands, embroidery artists and basket weavers.
