Irish Designers in Residence

Kildare Village is proud to announce the launch of the Irish Designer in Residence Series 2025, an initiative aimed at celebrating and showcasing the bright stars of Irish design.

The series will spotlight talent from fashion and accessories, providing a unique platform for emerging and established designers to share their craft with a wider audience.

Through this series, Kildare Village will create a space to showcase the best designers in Ireland, offering guests an immersive and cultural shopping experience, with a strong focus on sustainable products for the eco-conscious shopper.

The first two brands to feature in the series’ April schedule are luxury Irish clothing brands Nomi and Aoife Mullane Design, both scheduled to showcase at Kildare Village from Friday 11 April to Sunday 13 April.

From Friday 18 to Sunday 20 April, the series will feature the work of luxury sustainable fashion brand, Aoife McNamara, and timeless fine jewellery from Chupi.

Nomi

Irish Designed

Aoife Mullane’s designs are born of and inspired by, her Irish roots and reflective of the Irish coastal landscape. The entire process takes place on Irish soil and can be reflected in every fibre of the fabrics, all made using natural colour palettes and a signature glimmer of Irish charm embedded in luxury.

Hand Created

Designed by hand in Ireland from start to finish; an immersive and creative experience. Designs inspired by the Irish landscape and masterfully converted to adorn your space in style. An authentic, traditional process with a contemporary and unique flair.

Aoife McNamara

Aoife McNamara is a luxury sustainable fashion brand that creates unique garments inspired by nature, to protect nature. Founded in 2019, Aoife McNamara reimagines the future of sustainable design by reconnecting the fashion industry to the natural world.

The brand values creativity and beauty, people and planet, quality over quantity. It aims to create beauty not destroy it.

Aoife McNamara is the first B Corp certified Irish fashion brand.

Chupi

Chupi Sweetman designs timeless fine jewellery to celebrate life’s most precious moments of love, hope and everything in between. Working in recycled solid gold, precious stones and consciously sourced diamonds, her award-winning pieces are intended to mark every chapter in life’s perfectly imperfect journey.

Beautifully designed, consciously made

As much a beautiful design object as functional packaging, the suite is made almost exclusively with natural, biodegradable and sustainable materials, from paper and card to silk and organic cotton. Working with renowned packaging designer Vincent Villagér, the goal was to design packaging that could live on as keepsakes and equally be easily recycled.
