Time to hit the boutiques. Shop everyone from homegrown designers – you need to check out Louise Kennedy’s impeccable tailoring – to the global big-hitters such as Ted Baker, KARL LAGERFELD and more.

11.30 am

Are all those bags getting heavy? Book yourself in for Hands-free Shopping. We’ll take care of your purchase and even load them into your car when you’re ready to leave.

Then, if you’re looking for a little expert advice, enlist the help of the personal shopping team. They know the boutiques inside out and will curate a personalised edit just for you.

“Our guests are at an advantage because we’re always browsing the boutiques, preselecting the most amazing pieces for them,” says the team. “We’ll also ask the boutique assistants if there are any additional offers they can do – never be afraid to ask!

There’s nothing better than a long, leisurely lunch during your day out. Head to the newly reopened Saba – the Asian restaurant has recently moved into a bigger, better space. It’s the brand’s first opening outside Dublin and offers an ever-evolving menu, featuring fresh, local produce.

Our personal favourite is the hake served in banana leaf. The dish was only supposed to make a seasonal appearance but, due to popular demand, has now been added to the restaurant’s permanent offering.

3 pm

In need of a little pampering after lunch? Head to L’Occitane en Provence and NEOM for some indulgent treats – don’t forget to ask the boutique assistants for their favourites to recommend!

4.30 pm

Need a little afternoon pick-me-up? Be sure to pay a visit to Murphy’s – this Irish favourite has the most delicious home-made ice cream. The honeycomb caramel is divine.

6 pm

Did you know? Nearby Grey Abbey is the perfect sunset-watching spot. The ruins of the old Franciscan Abbey are located behind Kildare Village and date to 1260 when built by Lord William De Vesci ad later completed by Lord Offaly. The Abbey was named after the grey habit worn by the monks during medieval times.

7.30 pm

Finish off your day with dinner at L'Officina by Dunne & Crescenzi, the warmly lit Italian restaurant run by Eileen Dunne and Stefano Crescenzi. Taking its name from the Italian for ‘workshop’, this place follows in the footsteps of its sister restaurant in Dublin, which has become a local institution – much-loved for its delicious plates of antipasti and Italian wines.
