Look 1: Bohemian après-beach

Synonymous with a relaxed, hippy spirit, crochet trousers are one of this summer’s big trends, standing out for their comfort and cool look. For content creator María Calvet, “there are pieces and textures that have a memory and take me back to the Mediterranean, such as knitwear, raffia or linen: everything that’s comfortable and natural.”

María Calvet's go-to style tip? The so-called Third Piece Rule. “A style rule that consists of adding a third piece to any look to make it more harmonious. In this case, I decided to use a silk scarf as a belt; a simple trick that helps to link all the pieces of a summer look.”

Masculine and feminine

In Paris, mixing and matching is almost a must. Parisian women combine casual and sophisticated, masculine and hyper-feminine pieces. “When we start with a monochromatic look, the tip is to add pieces that stand out for their texture,” explains María, who wears a crochet outfit with a light, oversized shirt.

Look 2: Effortless beauty

María came to Paris for a six-month Erasmus trip, but ended up staying for more personal reasons. “The French capital is a city that breathes fashion, diversity and a lot of artistic sensibility. Barcelona, on the other hand, is home. It has that relaxed calm, but also very innovative energy. Both cities share something fundamental: the enjoyment of the little things, the importance of rituals and the romanticisation of the everyday.”

Look 3: Mediterranean aesthetics

There is something deeply sensorial in the way the Mediterranean manifests itself in light, fabrics and gestures. It’s an identity that María adapts to her everyday Paris wardrobe. “I like to incorporate pieces with drape, with history and natural fabrics. I combine the relaxed and lived-in with more modern pieces with an edgy touch. Raffia bags, neutral tones... it's my way of maintaining that link with my roots,” says the influencer.

This summer’s must-have

If Castañer's raffia espadrilles are the icon par excellence of summer footwear, the natural fibre basket is the authentic Birkin bag – be it on the beach or in the city. María Calvet’s combined these two essentials one elegant look.

Green 2025

This summer, green tones are all the rage: from pistachio to khaki and bottle green – which, according to the runways, is ‘the new black’. As Calvet says, “a touch of colour in accessories brings life to any summer outfit.” Her choice for this summer? Lottusse ballerinas.

Look 4: Basic, but not so basic

For María Calvet, a perfect day in Paris starts with breakfast in a local brasserie. “I like to walk around, move around on a bike and end up on a terrace. Enjoying the city without a strict plan, just letting myself go.” Her careful improvisation also translates into a simple style, built to the millimetre. Her favourite? A simple white T-shirt: “You can opt for a T-shirt with shoulder pads, which creates a modern, masculine silhouette.”

Look 5: Inspiring places, inspired looks

When it comes to fashion, style and inspiration, for the influencer, the sensory experience remains key. “La Roca Village offers the perfect ambience and selection that allows you to imagine yourself on your getaways. It enhances that connection with the moment and fashion as an experience and manages to create a bond beyond the product itself. In addition, I always find unique and different pieces, which I keep with great affection... so for me it's a round plan.”

New femininity

For María Calvet, “the new femininity is a mixture of strength and sensitivity, but also authenticity and identity.” Her style acumen? “Knowing how to play with codes.” For example, combining a romantic look with an unexpected accessory, such as a pair of aviator-style glasses, to add a more casual air.

The trend that (once again) redefines established fashion concepts? Mixing gold and silver, especially when you opt for a design that’s classic and structured. “Contrasting gold and silver finishes, from waistcoat buttons to UNOde50's sophisticated earrings and bracelets, brings a more edgy finish.”

Look 6: Timeless classics

“Even though I live and work in such a digital world, I still find it difficult to shop online,” confesses María. “A garment has to catch my eye in person. There's something very special about experiencing fashion from the tangible, understanding it as a story and choosing that unique piece that you decide to integrate into your life.” Like the tweed ensembles, which are part of the classic Parisian imaginary. A versatile fashion staple, they were popularised by Chanel in the 1950s and offer the perfect balance between functional utility and classic elegance.
