Unwind in the Meuse Valley River Park
Sitting just a few minutes from Maasmechelen Village, Meuse Valley River Park is the perfect place from which to admire the Meuse river. Flowing across the border between Belgian and Dutch Limburg, this historic river is brimming with nature, so be sure to look out for the varying animal species from waterfowl and beavers to Galloway cattle and Konik ponies.

The 9 km route: Immerse yourself in nature
Taking you from Kotem a/d Maas in Maasmechelen to the ferry at the Dutch-Belgian border, Kajak Maasland’s 9 km route guides you through a beautiful stretch of unspoilt nature.
