  1. The Hands-free Shopping Service at Maasmechelen Village (‘MMV’) enables you to do your shopping in complete serenity. No need to carry your packages, our team will retrieve your shopping bags in our brands’ spaces and will keep them safe at the Concierge Services for you to collect at the end of your visit to MMV .
  2. The Hands-free Shopping service costs 10 euro and is available during the MMV opening hours. You can register at the Concierge Services and payment can occur by cash or credit/debit card.
  3. Please note registration for the service must be done at least an hour before closing of MMV.
  4. Upon registering, you will receive a Hands-free Shopping Service registration confirmation with a QR code (through email or paper) which is essential to the use of the service. At each of the brands’ spaces where you purchase, you will need to present this QR code so that brand staff attaches your purchases to your personal code. Please make sure your shopping bags are sealed in front of you.
  5. Your shopping must be retrieved on the same day of purchase, and no later than 15 minutes before Village closing.
  6. For purchases made in MMV before registering to Hands-free Shopping service, please notify the staff while they register you to the service. These purchases can also be sealed and secured by MMV staff. Please note that only MMV staff can accept shopping outside of a brand space. Each brand can only accept items purchased from that brand and will not be able to accept purchases made from other brands.
  7. For purchases made after subscribing to the Hands-free Shopping service, please present your QR code to the brand’s staff at the time of the payment. Verify that your purchases have been placed by the brand’s staff in a sealed bag.
  8. When you have finished your shopping day and have made your final purchases, please contact Concierge Services through +32 (0)89 77 88 07 or ConciergeMV@valueretail.com at least 30 minutes before your preferred time of departure to ensure your shopping bags will be ready for collection.
  9. We do our outmost to collect your shopping bags and have them ready at your departure time. However, we cannot guarantee this time frame and refuse any liability if despite all our efforts, the service suffers delays.
  10. When collecting your shopping bags at the Concierge Services please present your Hands-free Shopping Service QR code, the receipts for the purchases taken in charge by Hands-free Shopping Service and an identity document establishing your identity as the person who made the subscription to the service.
  11. When receiving your purchases at the Concierge Services please make sure you collect all your shopping. Once you validate delivery, MMV can no longer be held responsible for any loss or damage to your purchases.
  12. We also must be informed of any loss or damage on the day of your purchase and before leaving MMV. All complaints must be made at the Concierge Services of MMV by the person who made the purchase on the day of purchase. We shall not accept responsibility for any loss or damage that is not notified to us on the day you used the Hands-free Shopping Service, and after you leave MMV. We will not have access to information regarding the value of your purchases and will, therefore, limit our liability for loss or damage to a maximum value of € 25,000 per bag per Hands-free Shopping subscription. We will only be responsible for loss or damage caused to your shopping bags caused by us or our employees or representatives. Any purchases that have not been claimed and collected within 28 days will be disposed of.
  13. We will collect your personal information (identity, contact details, transactions info) in order to register you for the Hands-free Shopping service and use this to operate the service during your visit. We will not share this data with third parties except with our brands if needed for the execution of the service, and we will not use it for any other purposes. We will keep it only for one month after your visit or as long as necessary in case of any disagreements with the Hands-free Shopping Service. Under certain circumstances, you have the right to request access, correct or restrict your data.
