When I go shopping in Maasmechelen Village with my husband Laurent, I can't help but stop at American Vintage. I love their passion for colours and soft materials. At Zadig&Voltaire, I always find an outfit that is both chic and casual, and the Le Creuset boutique is also a must-visit for me.

Take a break from shopping in one of the Village’s many restaurants and cosy terraces. One of my favourites is Le Petit Belge, a charming bistro where you can enjoy classic Belgian dishes.

For my weekend stays, I love to check in at one of the luxurious hotels in the lush, green surrounds of the Village, such as La Butte aux Bois.

I love to treat myself to a moment of relaxation at the magnificent Elaisa Energetic Wellness spa, which offers breath-taking views of the Hoge Kempen National Park.
