How to master autumn layering with finesse
Choose a cosy base layer
Whether a chunky turtleneck, round-neck jumper or an elegant knitted dress (perfect for head-to-toe warmth) – this years’ knits are exactly why we look forward to autumn. Whichever style you choose, make yours the softest cashmere in a rich autumn shade.
Layer on a light jacket
For your next layer, throw on a thin shirt, jacket or even a coatigan (a genius invention) to add extra style and depth to your look. A blazer will smarten things up, while an oversized striped shirt will give an off-duty vibe.
Finish off with an overcoat
The finishing touch to every outfit, outerwear should have nothing but throw-on-and-go appeal. For your final layer, an oversized cut works best. Go for classic styles like trench coats and camel coats in the mid fall, whereas puffer jackets and shearling wool will keep you properly warm on the cooler days.
