Feast on a six-course lunch, devour a seven-course dinner menu and let the manor’s gifted sommeliers choose wines that pair perfectly with each mouth-watering dish. The Swan Inn

Fine Dining/Gastropub
The Swan Inn is a 17th Century Cotswold stone pub, which resides in the historic village of Islip, Oxfordshire. The pub is only 10 minutes from Bicester Village by car and one stop by train from Bicester Village train station.

The pub itself which is steeped in history saw a huge refurbishment in 2022 and has been lovingly restored and brought back to life. Within its walls, you will find The Cygnet restaurant where Great British Chef Paul Welburn (previously awarded Michelin Star at The Oxford Kitchen 2018) serves outstanding food.

In March 2023, after only a few months of opening, the pub was rated 'very good' by The Good Food Guide and in May 2023 gained a place in the Michelin Guide. The Cygnet has also been awarded 3 AA Rosettes and can be found in the AA 2024 guide. Open Wednesday to Saturday for Lunch and Dinner; you can choose from our set-price 2 or 3-course lunch menu or our four-course dinner menu, which is complemented by a carefully paired wine flight.

For a more relaxed experience, we also have our 'Majlis' lounge area where you can enjoy our small plates menu and a cocktail (or two) from our resident mixologist.

Nut Tree Inn

The Nut Tree Inn’s fabulous food & drink is derived from the plentiful rolling pastures of Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas. Keepr’s Honey Gin is made 5 minutes away in Worminghall. A good selection of English wines from Woodchester Valley in nearby Stroud and Hundred Hills in Henley-on-Thames can be found on the wine list; and meats are sourced from Aubrey Allen in Coventry.
