By bus
There is a regular bus service between Maasmechelen Village and Hasselt or Genk. The 45 bus leaves from Hasselt and Genk station and takes you to our nearest stop called ‘Eisden Maasmechelen Village’ in 40 to 60 minutes.

By train
The nearest train stations are situated in Maastricht Genk and Hasselt, all approximately a 20–30-minute drive from here by car, and a 60-minute drive by bus. For more information, make sure to take a look at www.b-rail.be.
By boat
You can moor your boat at our jetty by the Zuid-Willemsvaart, opposite the Village.
If you want a relaxed and restful journey to Maasmechelen Village, you will most certainly enjoy our daily Shopping Express® service. The pick-up point is situated in the heart of Brussels where the Shopping Express™ leaves at 10.00 and returns you safely at 17.00.

D&D Services operates in the Maasmechelen area and is available for hire to take you to and from the Village. For more information about travelling to Maasmechelen Village by taxi, please telephone +32 11 790 690.
You can also order a taxi from a local company at the Tourist Information Centre, or ask our Security team in the Village.

You can park at the public parking space next to Maasmechelen Village. This is the parking where you can find the 'Visit Maasmechelen' tourist centre.
There is a charging station at the entrance next to the yellow clock tower.
There are available spaces on the parking where you can charge your car. You can find them by the entrance with the yellow clock tower.
At the Tourist Information Centre, we can provide information on a variety of accommodation providers in the area. We also run an accommodation booking service available online. Find your hotel here.

Yes, all boutiques accept credit cards.
Yes, you can find the ATM next to the offices, at the entrance with the yellow clocktower.
All guests can purchase a Maasmechelen Village Gift Card and pay with their UnionPay International card. Simply visit the Maasmechelen Village Tourist Information Centre to make your purchase. Some boutiques allow you to pay directly with your UnionPay International card including Kipling, Lacoste, Rodania & Co and Schiesser.

You can purchase Maasmechelen Village Gift Cards online from our website or at the Tourist Information Centre. If you do buy your Maasmechelen Village Gift Card online, you will need to activate it at our Tourist Information Centre. Make sure to bring the Gift Card, photo ID and the letter with the activation code.
It is generally not possible to use foreign currency or travellers cheques at the stores in Maasmechelen Village. The nearest place to exchange currency or bank your travellers cheques is in the town centre of Maasmechelen.

You will need to have an invitation and exchange this for a VIP Day Pass. Customers who stay at hotels local to our Village may be given a VIP Invitation in exchange for a VIP Day Pass which you can pick up at the Village Tourist Information Centre. If you have already signed up for membership, please look out for emails announcing promotions and follow the instructions on how to claim reductions. If you are not a member yet, please register online at www.tbvsc.com/maasmechelen-village/en
There is no luggage hold facility for customers. We would advise you not to travel with your luggage to Maasmechelen Village.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Village and within the cafés on site. There are however no public computers available to customers at Maasmechelen Village. The nearest place where you could use the internet or print something would be the local library in Maasmechelen, about a ten-minute walk from Maasmechelen Village.

Yes, wheelchairs are available in Maasmechelen Village. Visit the Tourist Information Centre for more information about accessibility and lending conditions (limited availability).
Yes, pushchairs are available on the same conditions as wheelchairs and are also available in the Tourist Information Centre (limited availability).
Please report cases of lost property or hand in items to our Security team, they are located in the yellow clock tower. If you have lost something, we will write down your details as well as a description of the item and you will be contacted if it’s found.
You can visit the town of Maasmechelen, which is a pleasant ten-minute walk from Maasmechelen Village. You could visit Bokrijk or wander around The Hoge Kempen National Park. Hasselt and Maastricht are only a short drive away either by car or bus. At the Tourist Information centre we have a multitude of brochures and leaflets with more details on attractions and activities in the area.
