Ahluwalia’s mission is to create, innovate and design whilst driving social and environmental change.

Priya Ahluwalia launched her award-winning label in 2018, inspired by her Indian-Nigerian heritage and London upbringing. The brand is committed to social and environmental change, utilizing sustainable sourcing and production. Recognized by top fashion awards and publications, Ahluwalia infuses art, music, and culture from the African and Asian diasporas into her designs, creating a blend of nostalgia and futurism. The label has also collaborated with notable brands like Mulberry, GANNI, Paul Smith, and Microsoft.

Madeforawoman

Since 2019, Made for a Woman has established in Madagascar a sustainable and innovative business model focused on social entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment. The project has launched several ready-to-wear, apparel, and accessory collections, collaborating with famous fashion brands, thus strengthening its global luxury fashion market presence. The aim is to preserve and reinterpret Madagascar’s rich raphia weaving heritage through modern takes on traditional crafts like crochet and basket weaving, while also supporting over 350 individuals and their families annually through various social projects.

Marco Rambaldi

Marco Rambaldi, a Bologna-born fashion designer, graduated from IUAV University of Venice in 2013. He quickly rose to prominence with his debut women’s collection at Milan Fashion Week in 2014, winning the Next Generation competition. After a stint at Dolce & Gabbana, he launched his own line, drawing inspiration from Bologna’s LGBT culture. His collections have been finalists in prestigious competitions like Who’s On Next and the International Woolmark Prize, and he’s known for his collaborations with major brands and his commitment to sustainability and innovation in fashion.

Trained in Venice, Belgium, and New York, Niccolò Pasqualetti is a 29-year-old designer with a Master’s from Central Saint Martins. Since launching his brand in 2021, he’s won the Franca Sozzani Award and been honored by the Camera Moda Fashion Trust twice. A two-time LVMH Prize nominee, Niccolò Pasqualetti’s fashion line offers a unique blend of eclectic and ambiguous styles, drawing inspiration from Italian sartorial traditions and the natural world. His designs rediscover forgotten elements and incorporate them as timeless pieces, blurring the lines between womenswear and menswear. Each detail is meticulously crafted to seamlessly fit into the rhythm of daily life.

As the fabrics research is key, new and innovative fabrics from the fashion tech industry as plant-based materials and from innovative recycling processes have been included in the collections. Torlowei is a luxury fashion brand established in Lagos, Nigeria, by Patience Torlowei and her daughter Mojisola Adegbile in May 2017. Originating from Nigeria’s first lingerie manufacturer, the brand infuses Patience’s textile design expertise into its fabric-focused and culturally rich collections. Known for its timeless designs meant to be cherished across generations, Torlowei became part of the prestigious Harrods department store in London in June 2023, marking a significant achievement.
