Inside our latest food openings
Moreish sandwiches, a much-anticipated Japanese restaurant refresh and Italy’s first sustainable pizzeria chain – don’t miss these new foodie spots when you’re next in Fidenza Village.
Panino Giusto
Established in Milan in 1979, Panino Giusto first launched as an ambitious project to reimagine the beloved Italian sandwich; one that expressed the quality and excellence of the country’s culinary skills whilst meeting the city’s energetic demand for fast but quality dining. With a commitment to Italian produce, masterful ingredient pairings and respect for seasonal produce, the adored sandwich eatery soon became recognised as “the Italian Art of the Panino,” drawing interest from around the world.
Now with 29 restaurants across Italy, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the US, along with a B Corporation certification – the first Italian food establishment to be granted one – Panino Giusto bringd its celebrated sandwiches and salads to Fidenza Village. With a menu showcasing a selection of Prosciutto from Parma and Prague, along with bresaola from the valley of Valtellina, it’s hard to resist a taste of them all. But if there’s one you try during your visit, make it the Cacioburger. It’s simply molto bene!
Koi Sushi
The esteemed sushi establishment needs no introduction. After more than six years in Fidenza Village and a thriving restaurant in the heart of Parma, Koi Sushi has become a firm favourite amongst locals in this foodie region.
Now, the beloved Japanese kiosk is being transformed into a sophisticated, sit-down restaurant in the heart of Fidenza Village. Amongst airy interiors, sample its fresh sashimi, temaki (with a variety of fillings) and richly flavoured uramaki. Also on offer are Koi’s speciality fried noodles and fried rice, as well as warming yakimono plates. Plus, for those after a takeaway option, you’ll be able to pre-order, have your sushi freshly prepared and collect from the restaurant in the Village.
Lievità
Fusing traditional Neapolitan cuisine with contemporary innovation, Italy’s first sustainable pizzeria chain, Lievità, is a masterful example of quality and seasonal craftsmanship. Working with only the finest Italian ingredients – including the carefully-preserved Vesuvian tomatoes used to base just some of its unique recipes – the pizzeria chain works exclusively with small-to-medium-producers, maintaining its commitment to economic value creation, social responsibility and environmental awareness.
With five successful venues in Milan, a feature in the prestigious Gambero Rosso Guide and, since 2024, the title of ‘Best Gourmet Pizza’ on the 4 Ristoranti show, it now brings its award-winning pizza to Fidenza Village. Showcasing a selection of its famous stone-baked pizzas, including the classic Five Formaggi and the spicy Diavola, don’t overlook other favourites, including the Pesto E Potate and the Puttanesca. Our recommendation? Order plenty and share amongst friends.
