Over the past 14 years, The Bicester Collection has been supporting emerging talent in the fashion industry with The Creative Spot, an initiative that offers them the opportunity to showcase their work in rent-free retail spaces all over the world.

As part of a Village takeover by Her Royal Highness Princess Delphine of Saxe-Coburg, Princess of Belgium, the initiative has now landed in Maasmechelen Village for the first time ever. The Princess has carefully curated a total of ten Belgian and three international emerging designers and creatives to be showcased in an exclusive pop-up boutique from 24 June until 23 July 2023.

With his eccentric, expressive style, Local Limburg talent Pol Vogels creates pieces inspired by Belgian culture and his own family traditions – an autobiographic take on fashion that caught the attention of Her Royal Highness Princess Delphine of Saxe-Coburg, Princess of Belgium, in 2022. From his atelier in Beringen, Pol Vogels designed the Princess’ 2022 royal parade dress. The designer is currently launching his debut collection.

Created by Siré Kaba, Belgian label Erratum Fashion offers exclusive ready-to-wear collections with a message. Erratum focuses on creating pieces for the urban woman in search of a colourful and elegant wardrobe. Inspired by Africa and made in Belgium, the brand proudly claims its mixed Belgian identity. With its name meaning ‘the correction of past mistakes’ in Latin, the label aims to build bridges and propose a new reading of Belgium’s relationship with Africa.

The Creative Spot showcases Erratum Fashion’s latest collection, which consists of colourful and effortlessly chic pieces – including designs that reminisce the one worn by Her Royal Highness Princess Delphine of Saxe-Coburg, Princess of Belgium, on 21 July 2021.

Marylène Madou launched her label in early 2017 with an exquisite collection of printed scarves. Today, print is still the main starting point for each collection. Each print is created in-house by the designer herself, using her own original paintings and digital illustrations – a vibrant interaction between fashion and art.

Georgina Sanginés was born and raised in Mexico where she worked in the cultural sector and interacted with different artists from various fields. After moving to the diamond city of Antwerp in 2018 she decided to take her passion for art and design to the next level by founding her own jewellery label. Today, Georgina Sanginés offers designs that are a harmonized blend of Mexican heritage and a fresh, edgy aesthetic – for an eclectic and contemporary new take on jewellery.

THEMOIRè was founded in Milan in 2019 as an ethically and ecologically responsible fashion brand. With the mission to sew the seams of a more sustainable future, THEMOIRè has developed innovative new fabrics and materials with the lowest possible environmental impact, all while paying particular attention to functional elegance and quality. The collections include materials obtained from cactus plants and apple industry waste, cork, eco-fur and vegan leather. All linings are made using 100% recycled materials.
